Hot Days of Summer & Upcoming Closures
Hello everyone!
Shedding season is upon us and with the hot temperatures already hitting Colorado Springs, it’s time to get your dog or cat in for their next appointment. Getting your pet groomed can greatly help control the shedding that ends up on your floors, upholstery and clothes.
Wendy will be out of town May 31st – June 6th and spots are quickly filling up before she leaves. Be sure to call NOW if you want to get your pet in: (719) 632-5446 otherwise you may have to wait until after Memorial Day.

Note Regarding Appointments
Hello friends!
Thank you so much for sharing your best friend(s) with us by letting us be their care provider and stylist.
As many of you know, this past year has been one of the changes by our licensing agencies. Now, I have less ‘condo’ space to house my K9s and felines and have only one large animal ‘condo’ available. The goal is to have less animals in the shop (4-5 at a time) and then I can provide quicker turn around time of 2-4 hours for established small to medium dogs.
Now, it’s important to set a drop off and pick up times. It is to be honored to keep sensitive traffic flow minimal, and availability for parking on our property alleyway. Yet, there will still be ‘CWR’ (call when ready) pickup times. Please do not arrive early for scheduled pick ups as we agreed upon the original time and that time is planned to meet completion for your pet, safely.
We are still by appointment only and of course, LOVE your referrals – we will give a $10 credit towards your pet’s next appointment for your kind referrals. Sadly, we have recently instated a weight limits of 60lbs for new K9 clients.

Canine Corner Upcoming Closure Dates
Hello all!
We will be closed September 18th – October 3rd and October 26th – November 1st.
During the end of October, Wendy will be attending the ‘Fun in the Sun’ National Dog Groomers Association, Inc. Trade Show and Seminars in Orlando, FL to bring exciting new techniques and education back to her grooming!

Grooming Jane Fonda’s Coton de Tulear!
We got the call yesterday from Jane Fonda’s P.A. “Do you have an opening soon for a Coton?” So Ms. Tulea came in 1st thing the next day for a “SPA” morning. Mom and Robert Redford are 1.5 blocks away filming a Netflix movie right here in our “HOOD”. OMG!…if only Robert had a dog needing us! Anyway, I know she is a special dog as all my client dogs are. They will be in our area for 2 months so hopefully this is not a one time gig.
So without further adieu, drum roll please… Meet Ms. Tulea Fonda, Jane Fonda’s Mature Coton de Tulear, who we had the pleasure of grooming!
Schedule Changes for September & October
Wendy is out until October 6th. However guest Master Groomer, Sheliah Griswold, NCMG will be able to fill in for prescheduled appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays. These days are also opened for clients to book in: Sept 26-27, 2016 and October 3-4th 2016. Wendy will start back part time Oct 6th, 2016. Appointments are limited through October so make sure you call to get your pets in sooner rather than later!
